Agility was the winner of the Best Airfreight Forwarder Award at the inaugural Supply Chain Asia Awards at a ceremony in Hong Kong.

Olaf Tauschke, Agilitys Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, collected the award in front of more than 300 senior industry professionals gathered at the Bauhinia Room at the Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Centre.

The Agility brand was launched just one year ago and we are honoured to receive this prestigious award.  We also welcome the award as it is recognition, from our customers and business partners, of the hard work and dedication of our staff during the last 12 months, said Tauschke.

The award was presented by Tony Fedorowicz, Executive Council Member for Supply Chain Asia who sponsored the Best Airfreight Forwarder category.

Logistics and supply chain professionals, customers and readers of Asias leading logistics magazine Supply Chain Asia were polled and asked to vote for the best companies in 14 logistics industry sectors. The top five companies in each category qualified as finalists.

Following the nomination round a panel of judges comprising senior executives from across the Asian logistics industry including shippers, 3PLs, carriers, analysts and journalists evaluated the submissions of all finalists before deciding on the winner in each of the categories.
