SEEBURGER UK has announced that its Business Integration Server (BIS) has been selected by ProcServe to enable integration within its eProcurement system to existing supplier and customer supply chain systems.
The relationship allows ProcServe to enable more organisations, in both the public and private sectors, to more easily transact over the internet, driving greater efficiency and reducing costs throughout the procurement process.
ProcServe provides fast, flexible and secure electronic marketplaces and supplier connectivity solutions. ProcServe's solutions include vendor-neutral connectivity and transaction capabilities that allow companies to extend the life of their current procurement platform investments.
Jesper Lynge Petersen, Chief Technology Officer for ProcServe, comments, The technology has been designed to allow large volumes of suppliers, many of whom are quite small, to benefit from the marketplace. However, larger companies require more in terms of seamless integration between order processing and their supply chain and fulfilment back office systems. We wanted to implement an integration tool that would allow customers and suppliers of all sizes, volumes and complexities to benefit from our eProcurement solutions.
He continues, We looked at some major providers of framework solutions, but felt these were too restrictive and didnt allow us the flexibility to take the solution in the direction we wanted to go. However, when we saw what the SEEBURGER BIS integration server could deliver, we felt confident we had found the solution to our requirements.
