Spartan Europe implements ERP system to identify customer trends

Electronic component distributor and stockist, Spartan Europe, has implemented XKO Software's ERP system, XWD, in order to identify customer trends and develop long term partnerships with customers and suppliers.

Established in 1982, Spartan Europe is an ISO9000 approved distributor and stockist of electronic components to the aerospace and military markets. It prides itself on providing the customer with high quality products, long term value and on-time delivery making it a leading distributor and stockist.

Sue Kurylowicz, QA Manager, Spartan Europe, comments, "Before implementing XWD we were carrying out customer analysis by hand which was a lengthy and slow process. Now we are presented with greater insight and relevant data at a faster rate, which can be used to offer service in a more consistent manner and enables us to become more customer driven, and supplier supportive."

XWD from XKO is a comprehensive integrated business system for distributors and wholesalers. It is designed for organisations with little or no IT management and it is tailored to each customer's needs to enable a high level of customer satisfaction while keeping a tight control of operating costs. Along with training and support XKO offers a unified package to deal with a number of critical business processes for wholesalers and distributors that include stock management and accounting.

Kurylowicz concludes, "XWD has enabled us to extend our own boundaries and we are now in a position to carry out more customer driven work.  XWD will provide us with the ability to improve all of our business processes in the future."
