Vocollect Appoints Business Development Manager for Central Europe

Vocollect, a world leader in Voice-Directed Work, has appointed Frank Rissler (pictured) as business development manager for Central Europe, covering Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.

Reporting to Greg Tanner, and based in Germany, Frank has been brought on board to further develop the use of Voice-Directed Work in close co-operation with Vocollect's partners in Central Europe territory and to open up new applications and customers for Vocollect Voice. By appointing Frank, Vocollect Europe has taken another step to strengthen its local presence with well-experienced staff members that can use their industry and market knowledge to build on existing and create new growth, opportunities.

Frank has been involved in the Auto ID industry since 1991 after an early career as an engineer in factory process automation. He joined SATO Europe as product manager for its industrial label printers, moving on to become regional sales manager for Central Europe. Following this, he joined Zebra Technologies in 1996 where he had a number of roles including building up the distribution network in Germany and the Benelux region; and then later as a BDM for its print-engine division. He went on to become Zebra's sales manager for Central Europe running the regional office based in Germany and covering Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In 2005 Frank joined Datalogic as sales manager for its Hand Held Reader product line in Central Europe where
he has been working up until now.
