K3 McGuffie Brunton's SYSPRO ERP software has been placed as a finalist in the AeA High Tech Innovation Awards for "Outstanding Software."

SYSPRO's selection was based on the latest version of SYSPRO 6.0. This new software release offers comprehensive enhancements that provide greater functionality in all areas, including finance, distribution and manufacturing. In addition, the latest release of SYSPRO ERP introduces new modules as well as the SYSPRO Fluid Interface Design that enables a new level of software customisation. Without any programming knowledge, users of SYSPRO software now have the ability to utilise familiar actions like 'drag and drop', to move or create custom fields, delete and restore fields, tailor forms, move items to background status to enhance accuracy and elevate performance levels.

Moreover, Fluid Interface Design enables the technical user to extend the functionality of default fields with the aid of simple VB Scripting, making it possible to leverage the power of SYSPRO e.net solutions business component architecture or interfaces defined by data sources and systems outside of the SYSPRO environment.

Howard Joseph, Managing Director of K3 McGuffie Brunton, says: "We regard the nomination as a continuing validation of the high standards that SYSPRO is setting with businesses. The innovative development approach focuses consistently on the implementation of technology that increases functionality and features, while reducing overall complexity."

The selection of SYSPRO in the "Outstanding Private Company" category is based on numerous criteria, including technological breakthroughs, success in meeting the needs of the market, unique characteristics of the SYSPRO software product, market potential and community involvement. AeA will present the 14th Annual High-Tech Innovation Awards on May 10, 2007 at the Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach, California, USA.
