Strategic Integration and Reseller Agreement Lowers Costs and Increases Flexibility for RedPrairie Customers

RedPrairie Corporation, a world leading consumer-driven optimization company and Voxware, Inc., a leading supplier of software for voice-driven logistics solutions, have announced the strategic integration of Voxware's voice solution with RedPrairie's Warehouse Management System (WMS). RedPrairie will resell Voxware's open voice software product for the supply chain, which is built on recognized standards such as SOA and VoiceXML, thus providing unprecedented flexibility for RedPrairie and its customers.

Gary Morgan, vice president, configuration services at RedPrairie, said, "Our customers are demanding platform independent systems that offer them more choices and influence over system configuration. Integrating to Voxware's voice solution allows us to take advantage of a true, end-to-end open system architecture. This enables our customers to deploy the hardware of their choice, independent of the voice software, which lowers total cost of ownership. And, most importantly, RedPrairie has far more control than ever before in customizing voice workflows to meet specific customer requirements. Finally, we will be able to quickly and easily integrate voice into subsequent releases of our WMS."

"Voxware is also easy to configure and use," continued Morgan. "As a result, RedPrairie can rapidly adapt to changes in our customers' environments and warehouse business processes and get voice solutions up and running in a matter of weeks."

Scott Yetter, president of Voxware, said, "The strategic integration of Voxware's open, platform-independent and scalable voice software with RedPrairie, a leader in supply chain excellence, opens a new era for voice in the warehouse. RedPrairie's global presence will allow more companies than ever to realize the benefits of Voxware's open, standards-based approach to voice software. RedPrairie users now have an unprecedented level of on-site adaptability from Voxware, which will enable them to further optimize their supply chain operations."

Voxware's voice solution is certified on mobile devices from a variety of manufacturers, including devices with multi-modal functionality. This allows companies to leverage existing hardware vendor relationships and obtain greater value from their hardware investments. Voxware is the first and only vendor to use non-proprietary, open standards in its voice solution, including service-oriented architecture, Java, voiceXML and web technology.

About RedPrairie Corporation

RedPrairie is a world leading consumer driven optimization company. Built on an advanced Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) developed over the past 10 years, the RedPrairie integrated suite of solutions offers on-demand capabilities to over 25,000 sites worldwide for many of the world's largest companies.

RedPrairie's E2e(tm) solutions synchronize people and products throughout the customer buying cycle to ensure goods reach the right place at the right time. At the point of sale, this means consumers have access to desired products and that the store is staffed with the right people to help them make their purchases. In the production cycle, it means suppliers and manufacturers time and synchronize shipments and production based on demand signals from the retailer. And in the back room of the store, it means having the least amount of inventory, solving the "last yard" problem of the retail supply chain.
