Zetes Services over 50% of European Voice Market in 2006

Company Deploys Voice Recognition Technology to over 5,000 New Users in 2006 A total of 18,000 voice recognition terminals throughout Europe

Zetes, a leading pan-European systems integrator in automatic identification of goods and people, has announced that sales figures for its 3i Voice Solution have increased by almost 30% in 2006 from the previous year. The result consolidates the groups leadership position in the European voice solutions integration market. Adding in the acquisition of Vocognition International in August 2006, Zetes now services 50% of the European voice market.

It had become clear that Vocognition International, one of the pioneers in the European voice market, was struggling to sustain its centralised business model in a continuously growing market where customers require proximity and local support. The integration of Vocognitions reputable professionals into our 3i Competence Centres was an excellent opportunity for Zetes. The 3i Voice Solution is a suite of value-adding components built on top of a voice-based technology for easy and direct integration into existing ERP or WMS systems. It is largely based upon Vocollects leading voice recognition technology and the Vocollect Talkman platform. Zetes 3i Voice Solution has been installed in over 350 voice recognition installations Europe-wide.
