RedPrairie Corporation, a world leading consumer driven optimisation company, has won the Microsoft European Retail Application Developer (RAD) award for best store system with BlueCube Enterprise 6.2.

The RAD awards are designed to reward independent software vendors (ISVs) and retailer IT departments that can successfully demonstrate innovation and excellence by delivering business value using Microsoft technologies in the retail sector.

RedPrairie won the store systems award with its BlueCube Enterprise web-based application, a .Net solution that is centrally deployed and managed and which relies on Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Advanced Server technology.  It enables businesses to employ best practices across the enterprise, and helps managers to quickly resolve issues through real-time business performance monitoring. Integrated reporting, alerts, workflows, dashboard, learning management and corporate data management suites further enhance business performance.

Dilip Popat, managing director, retail industry at Microsoft EMEA, said, "The judges gave the Best Store System award to RedPrairie  because they were impressed by the  consumer focus that its  solution offers. Microsoft and its partners believe that by better connecting information, systems and people, retailers are able to provide a greatly enhanced experience to store customers. We congratulate RedPrairie on its award and wish them continuous success in 2007."

RedPrairie's suite of retail applications streamline, synchronize and optimize retail operations from the store shelf back through the network of suppliers, creating increased store profitability, more efficient supply networks and better synchronization between headquarters, stores and supply chain operations.

About RedPrairie Corporation

RedPrairie is a world leading consumer driven optimization company. Built on an advanced Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) developed over the past 10 years, the RedPrairie integrated suite of solutions offers on-demand capabilities to over 25,000 sites worldwide for many of the world's largest companies.

RedPrairie's E2eT solutions synchronize people and products throughout the customer buying cycle to ensure goods reach the right place at the right time. At the point of sale, this means consumers have access to desired products and that the store is staffed with the right people to help them make their purchases. In the production cycle, it means suppliers and manufacturers time and synchronize shipments and production based on demand signals from the retailer. And in the back room of the store, it means having the least amount of inventory, solving the "last yard" problem of the retail supply chain.
