LINKFresh packaged approach a key factor throughout a six-month due diligence evaluation process.

Anglia Business Solutions has successfully concluded negotiations on a major multi-site implementation of its LINKFresh business management solution at Produce World. The 140 million turnover group is one of the largest conventional and organic fresh produce suppliers in the United Kingdom.

The LINKFresh solution is based on the world-class Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP suite, which currently has over 55,000 customers globally. The solution will be implemented across each of Produce World's subsidiaries. These include Solanum, British & Brazilian Produce, Frupac, Isleham Fresh Produce, Prep Direct, RB Organic and Rustler Produce. These collective organisations totalling more than 650 employees represent every discipline in the fresh produce industry.

Produce World chief executive, William Burgess, commented: "Our six-month
selection and due diligence process was extremely thorough as we needed a
modern system that would meet both our short and long term business
requirements.  We selected the LINKFresh solution from Anglia for a number
of reasons; firstly, the Dynamics NAV system is widely and successfully used
throughout the global fresh produce industry."

Burgess continued: "Anglia also demonstrated their extensive knowledge and
commitment to the fresh produce sector with the sophisticated industry
specific functionality included in the LINKFresh packaged application. We
also had very positive feedback from a number of existing first-class
reference sites where we explored how the relationship worked where
difficulties occurred. Finally, Anglia could provide us with a single source
for a system that included infrastructure, the core business applications
and advanced mobility. When implemented, the totally integrated Produce
World deployment will be a leading edge solution that will enable us to
realise our commercial potential as the fragmented fresh produce industry
continues to consolidate."

Microsoft's director of Microsoft Dynamics Sarah Heller said of the awarding
of the contract: "We are very pleased that an industry leading organisation
such as Produce World has selected the Microsoft Dynamics NAV based
LINKFresh application as its future business management solution. The
combination of a Microsoft world-class ERP platform, the award winning
LINKFresh vertical application and Anglia's unique mobility technology will
enable Produce World to benefit from using dynamic information as a
competitive aid in the highly demanding food sector."

David Hurley, managing director at Anglia, added: "The Anglia team is
looking forward to working with a prestigious and fast growing organisation
such as Produce World. The rapidly changing fresh produce industry is one of
the most demanding supply chain environments to automate.  Our unique
technology will enable them to benefit from our significant investments and
experience in the sector to our mutual advantage."
