Zetes, a leading pan-European company in the value-added solutions and services industry for Automatic Identification of Goods and People, has opened a new office in Denmark to better service the Nordic markets (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway).
Auto-ID veteran and pioneer in introducing voice-directed systems in these countries, Jan Norret has been engaged to manage the Nordic office.
On a strategic level, Zetes will enter the Nordic market focusing on its "3iV Solution", a complete set of value-add solutions for voice-controlled logistics. Zetes has a clear leadership in the Pan European market for voice logistics. In 2006, Zetes increased its sales figures for its 3i Voice Solution by almost 30% compared to the year before. Together with the acquisition of Vocognition International in August 2006, Zetes now services 50% of the European voice market.
For the past few years, Zetes already has been active in the Nordic countries. Zetes is the only voice integrator servicing reference customers in all four countries. These customers, who will be taken over by the new office, were serviced by the Zetes offices in Hamburg (Germany) and Brussels (Belgium), which will continue to support the new Nordic office. The new branch can also rely on the support of the 3i Competence Centres that Zetes has in place. These centres act as Pan-European knowledge centres for specific technologies. Today, Zetes operates 3i Competence Centres for voice, RFID and label printing/applying.
Local office to keep up with rapid market developments

Fast geographic expansion
With the opening of a new Nordic office, Zetes is continuing a series of expansion initiatives. In 2006, Zetes opened new offices in Italy and Israel. The company also acquired a new office in Switzerland and additional offices in UK, Germany and The Netherlands, following the acquisition and integration of PEAK Europe. Establishing local offices is an important element in the business strategy of Zetes, which focuses on high quality services and customer relationships based on trust. The establishment of local offices with local specialists will help to achieve this.
