Retailers and technology vendors hoping to win an award in the European Retail Solutions Awards 2007 need to enter now.
Now in their seventh year, the awards are held on Wednesday 6th June, the middle night of the Retail Solutions exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, 5th-7th June, and will see some of Europes best-known retailers recognised and rewarded at the gala evening held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.
Last years winners included 2006 Retail IT Professional of the Year, Rob Fraser, Group IT Director of Boots. The European Retail Technology Solution of the Year was Blue Tomato with its delivery of leading-edge on line services. Supply Chain Excellence Award was Meadowhalls accelerated response centre and Supplier of the Year was awarded to DigiPos Systems.
The categories for the awards include the Best Use of Technology in a Hospitality and Leisure Environment, reflecting the extent to which technology has become so critical to the success of the hospitality and leisure industry and the European Retail Technology Solution of the Year The winners of winners award that will commend the ultimate solution of the evening, comprising of the winners from each award category.

The awards are the highest accolade in the retail technology industry and last years awards attracted more than 750 senior retail executives and vendors from around Europe. Although the competition is tough, with a huge number of entrants, the awards are open to all, and both vendors and retailers are invited to enter and shout about their successes.
