AutoLogic Systems Ltd has announced that Dematic Ltd, the leading supplier of logistics automation systems and solutions, has acquired multiple licenses of their Demo3DTM material handling system demonstration software.
Dematic will use the Demo3DTM software to communicate their material handling solutions to clients in a highly realistic and informative manner. Dematic will build dynamic models that replicate required system operation and provide a convincing visualisation of product flow. Physics calculations within the software add in-depth realism to the dynamic system behaviour, giving Dematic engineers a tool to allow them to assess the impact of control strategy, product, and equipment interaction.
The Demo3DTM structure allows Dematic engineers to create process elements with embedded control that replicates their actual operation. The model build and configuration of accurate system solutions can then be carried out quickly and easily. With the ability to import highly realistic graphic images in many formats for enhancing presentation impact, Dematic can present system proposals as movie files and dynamic models in a web-enabled environment.
