IBS Finland has signed a business partner distribution agreement concerning IBS products with Finnish Iriba.
The agreement applies to the IBS Integrator and Business Process Tracker solutions, sold directly to customers by IBS until now.
According to Ilkka Mikkonen, Vice President IBS Nordics and General Manager Russia & Baltic States at IBS, the move from direct sales to channel sales is a significant strategic decision for IBS from an international viewpoint as well. By extending its network, IBS plans to increase the licence sales of its popular Integrator product.
IBS Integrator ensures the cost-efficiency of information systems and the profitability of investments. The power of IBS Integrator is in data replication. The intelligence is centrally built so that new solutions or partners can be easily added or modified. IBS Integrator is an open source program, and it can be modified freely.
Iriba Oy is a Finnish application development and expert consulting company, employing nine information system integration professionals. The strengths of the company are system and application integration expertise, together with flexibility and commitment to long-term client relationships.
Jouko Salo, Managing Director of Iriba, looks forward to the new cooperation where Iriba can utilise its know-how in integrating companies ERP software and other information systems.
According to Salo, there is clearly demand on the market for smaller-scale integration projects. Integration can make the use of information systems more effective even in medium-sized companies. Integration also enables to build various external and internal services around the ERP software, e.g. automating administrative routines.
The current trend on the market has been to move away from tailored to integrated ERP solutions. Integrating applications that are not part of the ERP software means that the data of the different systems can be combined to an easily manageable format. This way all relevant information is quickly available and the maintenance of the system is as easy as possible.
