WonderWorld Global Conference Series Microsoft Co-Sponsors Invensys Wonderwares 2006 UK event hosted by Pantek

Wonderware, a business unit of Invensys Systems Inc., and whose products are marketed and supported in the UK and Ireland by Stockport based Pantek Limited, today announced the topics and dates for the WonderWorld 2006 global conference series, which will begin in September. 

The conferences, globally sponsored by Microsoft Corp., and to be held in 19 locations throughout the U.S. Latin America, Europe and Asia, will focus on operational excellence in manufacturing. Pantek will host this event incorporating it into their 2006 UK User Conference.

It will be held at the Daventry Hotel, Northamptonshire on the 31st October & 1st November 2006. 
   
At the UK conference, keynote addresses will be given by several speakers including Professor Tom Cannon, CEO of Ideopolis. Professor Cannon was previously head of the Manchester Business School and CEO of the Governments Management Charter Initiative; his address will focus upon the nature of leadership through change in Manufacturing during this the Third Knowledge Based Industrial Revolution.

Other keynote speakers include senior managers from Invensys who will address the question What is World Class Manufacturing? Wonderware will cover both its strategic direction and the next modules in the ArchestraA enabled range of manufacturing software tools.  Wonderware will also present details of their ongoing technology roadmap.

The conference is designed to provide manufacturing managers, information technology professionals, operations management and engineering personnel with vital information on how their companies can optimise plant and enterprise operations.  Delegates will learn how to achieve maximum efficiency and increased performance throughout the enterprise with the use of best industry practices and Wonderwares wide variety of information and automation software solutions.
