Zetes acquires VoCognition International

Offering existing customers security, support, and a guaranteed growth path based on its expertise and continuous investment in voice technology

Zetes announces they have acquired VoCognition International NV (NL), a European supplier of voice-enabled warehousing solutions (Warehousing Execution System) with Vocollect technology, based in Amsterdam. As a leading pan-European system integrator, largest European Vocollect partner, and with a 3i Competence Centre specialized in voice technology, Zetes offers VoCognition International's customers peace of mind with security, support, and a guaranteed growth path after a turbulent period of insecurity.

When the company VoCognition BV, one of the European pioneers in the market
of voice-enabling logistics processes in the warehouse with an installed
base of over 7.500 terminals, ran into difficulties over the last 6 months
creating much uncertainty amongst its customers, VoCognition International
NV acquired its business and products.

Zetes, leader in the market thanks to its steady development of solid
solutions, now stabilizes this turbulent period, guaranteeing the customers
continued support on their existing WES (Warehousing Execution System) voice
system for a long period of time. Moreover, Zetes will incorporate the WES
Solution in its market-leading 3i Voice Solution, so that over time
customers are sure to have access to evolving market- and technology
developments. VoCognition International (NL) employs very qualified people
who will be integrated in the Zetes 3i Competence Centres.

critical mass to further develop and support its existing customers", says

investing in further developing our 3i Voice Solution, which is already
installed in over 200 sites in more than 17 countries and daily run by more
than 8.000 terminals. Over time, WES will be integrated in this solution. As

of being able to offer international customers more than just solid voice
solutions. Zetes can offer them a one-stop-shop for all their Auto ID needs.

integrator for Vocollect Voice Solutions in Europe, and we feel they can
offer a safe harbour to existing Vocognition customers".

One of the added values that will immediately benefit the existing customers
is the fact that all Zetes subsidiaries are certified Vocollect Repair
centres. Zetes are therefore able to support existing customers' equipment
out of local offices in 10 countries and can work with dedicated parties
outside those territories.

The UK's large retailers and logistics companies have been early adopters of
the Voice Recognition technologies to improve the accuracy and the
productivity of their Supply Chain. Zetes 3i Voice solution
represented the fastest growth over the past 12 months with more than 170
installations across Europe.

Zetes will maintain existing VoCognition's WES customers for both hardware
and software, will secure their current investments and will guarantee them
for systems upgrade as well as for additional functionalities.

Zetes in the UK has been a strong promoter of Voice Recognition applied to
Supply Chain processes and got already quite some significant success.
