Anagram Solves Financial Management Growth Pains Of Aspiring SMEs

Latest Integrated Business Management And Accounting Software Supports Fast Growing SMEs in Manufacturing, Distribution and Retail Vertical Market Versions Also Available For The Jewellery, Marine And Merchant Sectors

SME Business Software group, Anagram Systems has extended its acclaimed ENCORE-eBIS software portfolio with a new range of integrated business management and accounting software targeted at fast growing SMEs in the Manufacturing, Distribution and Retail sectors. There are also three vertical industry specific versions aimed at the jewellery trade, the merchant community and the marine industry.

Offering feature rich functionality, in an easily customisable and friendly format, the new Windows based range is specifically designed to deliver the strategic business management information required by SMEs starting to experience the financial control demands of significant growth.

ENCORE-eBIS combines accounting, sales data and contact management, epos, purchasing, jobs, supplier catalogue import and more in one integrated package. The system also includes class leading VAT handling and stock control management; together with secure support for online trading and the ability to email or fax financial documents without having to leave the system.

Says Andrew Morgan, Anagrams Head of Sales; Fast growing SMEs reach a point where they have all the financial and business control problems of their bigger counterparts and yet they do not have the budget for big ticket accounting systems or the often enormous customisation costs related with them. Yet it is at this stage that access to effective financial management information becomes a strategic element of the business plan itself and is an integral part of the future success of that organisation.

Too many organisations try to struggle on with off-the-shelf or entry-level products that no longer do the job, or they commit to the hardware, software, tailoring and training costs of significantly cut down versions of large-scale systems. These suck them into a continuous cycle of expenditure, as they invariably need to upgrade to get the features they need for their business.

Beyond this, many organisations need technology that recognises the nature of their business environment, particularly in areas such as manufacturing, distribution and retail. By bringing Anagrams specialist knowledge of fast growing companies in these sectors to the fore, users know they have chosen robust and fit for purpose technology that will grow with them in a context sensitive way.

Anagram has also gone one step further, recognising that some markets, with unique stock and procurement characteristics, require an even more specific approach. The result are three vertical market versions of ENCORE-eBIS, which are fine tuned to the needs of the jewellery industry (both in terms of manufacturing and retail), the merchant community (including builders merchants or wholesalers), and the marine sector with boat builders, service companies and chandlers. Anagram is also evaluating other markets where vertically tailored versions might be appropriate.

Anagrams Morgan adds, Its just not good enough for software suppliers to go just part of the way in delivering systems. In sectors where there are particular market or industry characteristics, we feel that the technology available should have these factors built in from the start and not be seen by vendors as an opportunity for charging significant consultancy and development fees for tailoring. We are constantly evaluating new industry sectors to target and hope to announce others shortly.
