Fleetstar-Online will help enhance Duty of Care provision and ensure greater security for all fleet vehicles
Cybit, the UK's leading online telematics service provider, will provide 80 units of its Fleetstar-Online Internet-based fleet and asset management solution to Ideal Boilers, a leading domestic and commercial boiler specialist. Fleetstar's real-time tracking functionality will help Ideal Boilers enhance Duty of Care provision for its mobile engineers and improve the security of its vans.
The high levels of real-time fleet visibility and manageability provided by the Fleetstar-Online solution will enable Ideal Boilers to ensure it provides enhanced Duty of Care to its drivers by monitoring adherence to safe driving practices and the Working Time Directive. Every Ideal Boilers engineer van carries an extensive parts inventory - made possible by real-time replenishment processes through handheld devices - and Fleetstar-Online's stolen vehicle tracking functionality will enhance security.

"We have given them laptops to help with diagnostics, handheld PDAs to help them send in reports and initiate parts replenishment in real-time, and now we have implemented telematics to provide them with enhanced Duty of Care, security and accountability. Our customers will sometimes dispute the times that an engineer spent at their property, or whether they called when they said they did. Fleetstar-Online will enable us to prove that our engineers fulfilled their obligations to our customers.

Fleetstar-Online is Cybit's scalable Internet-based fleet and asset management solution that provides organisations with precisely the level of telematics functionality they require, while also ensuring an easy upgrade path so that it can evolve to meet changing business needs.
