Infor, the largest global enterprise software provider exclusively focused on developing solutions for the manufacturing and distribution industries, has won a contract to supply its software solution to leading manufacturer Designplan Lighting, headquartered in Sutton, Surrey.
Designplan Lighting is a family owned British manufacturer with a pedigree of over 40 years experience producing Weather and Vandal resistant lighting in addition to a growing range of architecturally pleasing fittings.
Paul Williamson, Designplans Operational Director, explained why the purchase of Infor ERP SyteLine was such a strategic investment for the company: We had been using a system that we felt was no longer being developed, for almost 10 years, and this contract was coming to an end. In addition to growing concerns about the ability of the legacy system to cope with our requirements, we wanted to source a state-of-the-art solution offering functionality that was perfectly geared for our business requirements.
