Exel, the global leader in supply chain management, has won a warehousing and distribution contract with Moeller Elektrotechnika, a manufacturer and distributor of home and industrial power distribution devices (eg electrical systems for buildings) in the Czech Republic.
Exel will provide logistics support to Moeller from its new 2,000 sq m DC in Brno. The Company will ensure that all of Moeller's materials and finished products are received and issued as required. Exel will also provide warehousing and packing services managing secondary distribution to end customers. By the end of 2005, this warehouse will be the centre of Moeller Elektrotechnika's distribution network in the Czech Republic and in Eastern Europe.

Exel's activities in the Czech Republic are continually growing with more than 900 employees working in nine locations across the country. Its presence in the Czech logistics market is extensive and covers the industrial, automotive, aerospace, technology, retail, consumer and healthcare markets.
