Aldatas and Carrefours project for the international deployment of Aldata G.O.L.D software is proceeding according to plan and pilot systems for areas are now in place. In the next phase Aldata G.O.L.D. will be deployed in further Carrefour countries.

As part of the global agreement signed with Aldata in 2003, Carrefour embarked on three major implementation projects for its retail operations in Asia Pacific, South America and five European countries. In the first phase pilot systems for each area have been developed. The pilot systems consist of G.O.L.D. Central for head office functions and G.O.L.D. Shop for store functions. The overall objective of the project is the transition of Carrefours existing systems to Aldata G.O.L.D. In total, the project consists of 15 central head-office systems and over 900 stores.

The pilot countries (Thailand, Brazil and Poland) are now in production and the country developments will progress through 2007 in Asia (Indonesia, Taiwan, Korea, China, Singapore and Malaysia), Latin America (Argentina and Colombia) and Europe (Greece, Turkey, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic).

The global nature of the Carrefours project presented a variety of challenges to which Aldatas organisation has been able to respond. Our integration and development teams have been capable to support this large global deployment. With Aldata G.O.L.D., retailers are globally supported by a software solution which guarantees them stability and performance., says Ren Homeyer, CEO of Aldata Solution.
