VSc Solutions adds Routing as a Service to Dispatch Dynamic

VSc Solutions, leaders in supply chain and last mile integrated dispatch management today launched the availability of routing and scheduling optimisation as a software service as part of Dispatch Dynamic. The service obviates the need for selecting, installing and running a routing application package in-house with the inherent internal IT overheads, typically saving between half and two thirds the cost of ownership.

VSc Solutions will charge for the service on a cost per order/cost per route basis and has tied up with one of the world's leading routing and scheduling global vendors as the ASP(Application Service Provider).

Anthony Munro-Martin, head of VSc Solutions mobile division said: "The great benefit is that customers don't need to incur any upfront  IT costs, particularly integration costs, and can expect a benchmark saving of around 10 to 14 per cent from reduced routing costs. Moreover we offer the flexibility for them to cherry pick the service only for those orders with a higher level of complexity or those requiring a higher level of servicing."

Customers will need to install the dispatch management component of  Dispatch Dynamic which would usually be completed within a two to three week period. Existing Dispatch Dynamic users can go live within a couple of days simply choosing onscreen the orders that they need to be optimised.
