The new version of the solution brings support to thousands of field devices in real-time, allowing any organisation with a large number of field workers to efficiently organise and find their appointments countrywide.
Using GPRS, TODAY 3 links with Wheatley Associates ASP solution GRASP and ASSIGN corporate scheduler to show continuously updated appointment information on field operatives handheld devices. This technology enhances the efficiency of field service workers by eliminating the need to constantly call into the office for the time and location of their next appointment. Wheatleys solution enables users to accurately pinpoint appointment locations, saving the time consuming task of manually looking up each stop of their day on out-of-date paper maps.
TODAY 3 continues Wheatley Associates user configurable theme, whereby users can configure the handhelds according to their own requirements, provide logic navigation from screen to screen, automatic updates, and GPS tracking to indicate when workers are logged-in and contactable. Utilities providers, couriers, housing associations, local government authorities, etc. all benefit from Wheatleys scheduling optimisation and mapping technology, allowing them to increase their appointments per day and maximise ROI.
