Solutions Showcase for CPG Manufacturers

Presented by SSI, Sponsored by Microsoft

Venue: Yew Lodge Conference Centre, Kegworth, Derby (M1 Junction 24)
Thursday 14th April 2005

Manufacturers supplying the major retailers, either directly or indirectly, are facing increasing pressure on costs, quality, delivery and regulatory compliance.

This unique one-day event brings together a number of best-of-breed IT solution suppliers to showcase systems designed to address the business challenges experienced by manufacturers of consumer goods including food, drink, personal care, household chemicals, OTC pharmaceuticals, paper and textile products.

The benefits of these solutions will be illustrated through business scenario presentations covering collaborative product development; demand forecasting; customer and order management; production planning; scheduling; production monitoring; RFID; quality control and distribution, with management information systems and financial control to complete the picture.

Microsoft will present their IT strategy for the manufacturing industry, showing how their technology will continue to unlock benefits in the retail supply chain into the future.

There will be opportunities for individual discussions with each of the suppliers taking part in the Showcase, with product demonstrations where applicable.

This event will be of value to Managing Directors; Finance Directors; Commercial, Technical, Supply Chain and Production Directors and Managers; and those with responsibility for business IT in their organisations.
