Aldata Solution Oyj and Wincor Nixdorf have created a global partnership which will see the two companies jointly develop and market software products aimed at retailers with international operations. The goal is to reduce the complexity of IT infrastructures in the retail sector through a tight integration of software products and to simplify the central control of store processes.

To this end, the partners have launched Store Execution 7/24, which brings together Aldata's G.O.L.D. supply chain software and Wincor Nixdorf's global store solution portfolio.

This agreement provides clear benefits to the customers that both companies share, such as Tesco and Carrefour, both of whom are expanding globally, says Mr. Matti Hietala, Aldata CEO.

The ability to provide solutions internationally and support them locally is a key factor in optimizing response times and support costs. The cooperation between Aldata and Wincor Nixdorf meets this requirement fully. It offers retailers a range of products that meet all their needs, from their stores to their head office, says Mr. Achim Schlangenotto, Wincor Nixdorf retail store solutions director.

The agreement between Wincor Nixdorf is part of Aldata's internationalisation process, by which Aldata will partner with leading vendors to target new areas. The alliance complements the strengths of Aldata's existing integrated retail solution by providing instant coverage outside Aldata's current territories for in-store solutions.
