Leading dairy product exporter Lactalis has chosen LASCOMs Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) suite, Advitium, to ensure new food industry regulations are met and to help make Lactalis more responsive to customer demands.
Advitium reduces product lifecycles and increases productivity by enabling users to monitor information associated to projects and products, therefore cutting down on lengthy, manual processes.
Advitium is the frame of reference for XML data which automatically manages contractual documents, such as recipes, product charts, and expenses. It manages product definition and distribution as well as keeping track of all goods in a group. This flat form of collaboration also allows internal staff to work with external Lactalis suppliers and clients.
Advitium is used by Lactalis in three divisions over 40 locations in Europe. Lactalis exports well known dairy brands including Prsident, Bridel, and Socit.
