CALEDONIAN ROOFING SUPPLIES IMPLEMENTS EXCHEQUER ENTERPRISE TO GAIN TIGHTER STOCK CONTROL

Caledonian Roofing Supplies, a supplier of roofing materials based in Scotland, has awarded a contract to software reseller, Castle Computer Services Ltd, to implement Exchequer Softwares business and accounting software, Exchequer Enterprise. The new system will support the companys rapid expansion by providing tighter financial control and better stock management.

A major benefit of Exchequer Enterprise is the OLE report writer and stock control module, which enables Caledonian Roofing Supplies to share data between Microsoft Excel and Exchequer Enterprise in order to improve the availability of management and stock level information.

Eileen Ferguson, Financial Controller of Caledonian Roofing Supplies, says, The seamless integration between the OLE report writer and stock control module within Exchequer Enterprise means that we can easily keep track of our stock levels, providing us with an accurate and up-to-date view of product availability. In addition, the drill down functionality within the product gives us quick and easy access to the management information that we need without needing technical skills or expertise.

Ferguson continues, Exchequer Enterprise has enabled us to eradicate the need for continual manual intervention when preparing management reports, which as a result has greatly reduced the time taken. Ultimately this will drive efficiency through the business, as we will be able to re-deploy our time more effectively elsewhere.

Commenting on the selection process, Ferguson concludes, We looked at a number of business and accounting systems but we felt that Exchequer Enterprise was head and shoulders above the rest because it offered us all of the functionality we needed at a very competitive cost. In addition to this, the level of support we have received from our partner, Castle Computer Services Ltd has been excellent they have been pro-active and enthusiastic throughout this project and their unique implementation methodology (PQIS) ensured that the system met all of our expectations and was delivered on time and to budget.

Caledonian Roofing Supplies purchased Exchequer Enterprise to replace the companys Sage Line 50 software.
