G-Log Expands Operations in Europe

G-Log, the leading provider of global logistics and transportation software, today announced its plans for its European operations, marked by the re-location of its EMEA Headquarters to Bracknell. The announcement follows the appointment of additional personnel in the UK to support G-Log's growth initiatives, including the promotion of Dominic Regan to director of global alliances and international marketing and the recruitment of Roger Turner as UK sales manager.

The additional facilities at the new offices, located in Bracknell, will enable G-Log to offer enhanced technical and application support to its customers throughout Europe, Australasia and the USA, as well as being able to deliver additional training courses for customers, partners and personnel.

Since its arrival in Europe in 2001, G-Log's European operations have expanded from 10 staff to the current 48, and its customer-base has grown substantially in three years. G-Log now has customers in 10 countries across Western and Northern Europe, spanning diverse industry sectors including retail, CPG, chemical, automotive and Logistics Service Providers. G-Log's expansion strategy is in line with its objectives for 2005, to not only continue to deliver on the quality service experienced by its existing customers, but also to expand aggressively with projects for new customers within its target sectors. With functionality including transportation procurement, delivered in the forthcoming 5.0 release of GC3, G-Log is well positioned for further growth in the future.

Commenting on G-Log's success and its strategy for 2005, Chris van der Harst, managing director, International operations, said, "The opening of the new offices is recognition of our substantial growth here in Europe over the last 4 years, and we're very excited about the further expansion possibilities in 2005 and beyond. With the appointment of Dominic Regan as director of global alliances, we are looking to build upon our existing relationships with our partners, such as CAP Gemini, IBM and Satyam, and expect to win new business based on our proven expertise, leading technology and excellent service. I am also delighted to welcome on board Roger Turner as UK sales manager. Roger has significant industry experience and a proven track record in our market, and will be able to bring renewed focus to our sales efforts in the UK".
