Mike Campbell and Associates and Aldata have signed a contract for the delivery of Aldata G.O.L.D. logistics management software. The project kicks off in January 2005 and the first warehouse is scheduled to start running the new systems in Autumn 2005. The whole project will be completed during 2005. This project marks the entry of Aldata into the logistics service sector in the United States.

MC&A is a West Coast based service provider specializing in the storage, transport and delivery of perishables.

The contract covers an Aldata G.O.L.D. Stock software installation together with G.O.L.D. Radio, G.O.L.D. Voice, G.O.L.D. C-Plan and G.O.L.D. Events modules.

We needed a system that would enable us to better serve our customers' demands for increased volumes, introduction of packing sheets, product traceability, inventory value management, inventory turnover optimization and real time stock control. Aldata G.O.L.D. was the best available choice, says Robert Camarena, project manager at Mike Campbell and Associates.

This deal is very significant to us, because it is the first of its kind for Aldata in the logistics service sector of the United States. It is a major coup to get as a client a company specialized in outsourced warehouse management. It shows that Aldata G.O.L.D. software is a winning solution for many parts of the retail value chain. We believe this deal will open the market sector for us, and this deal we now closed is a sign that the investments made in the North American market are now coming to fruition, comments Matti Hietala, CEO of Aldata Solution.
