Allders Department Stores, a leading UK fashion and home wares department store chain, is reducing the total cost of invoice processing by implementing further modules within Kewill Trade from Kewill Solutions Europe, a leading provider of  order fulfillment supply chain execution solutions.

Allders currently uses Kewill to manage its order management process with over 200 global suppliers. Introducing an additional invoicing module will enable Allders to seamlessly exchange invoice data with its supplier base, regardless of the various EDI methods currently employed by those suppliers.

The total management of orders and the related 10,000 invoices weekly via the extended solution will ultimately reduce the total cost of invoice processing, through a significant reduction in invoice query resolution time, and automated price checking and line level matching.

Integrating Kewill Trade, MessageBroker and EasyTrade solutions across Allders and its supplier base, consolidates the management of this process into a single environment, providing suppliers with a connectivity option that suits their requirements and budget. As Kewills solution is managed from its state-of-the-art Manchester based data centre, businesses do not have to dedicate specific in-house skills and resources to enabling their supply chain.

As we continue to expand our business, we need to be able to effectively manage the complexity of our processes, said Mark Fabes, Head of IT, Allders. With the extended Kewill Trade suite we will deliver greater business benefit based on a proven, flexible, managed solution.

Allders, a Kewill customer since 2001, chose to implement additional Kewill Trade functionality to support its strategy of 100% electronic enablement of its supply chain. The decision to extend the relationship with Kewill was made easier as the team was able to report numerous benefits from its existing implementation, including:

-Enhanced supply chain control through visibility across the order process
-Significant reduction in supply chain costs through improved supplier relationships and optimised processes
-The implementation of common global processes for real-time communication with suppliers.

Kewill has played a significant role in helping us to reduce the cost and complexity of our operations, contributing to our growth strategy and ultimately enhancing our ability to provide best value and service to our customers, commented Mark Jackson, Allders Director of Accounting and Control.

Jacquie Boast, Chief Operating Officer at Kewill Solutions Europe states, Allders decision to further grow its relationship with us, clearly demonstrates our ability to deliver integrated solutions into the retail market which provide a rapid return on investment.
