The Falcon 4420 is the new industrial data capture terminal from PSC featuring full colour touch screen and Windows CE.net operating system. This allows the freedom to select the preferred software solution and gives the power to easily implement sophisticated mobile applications within any company. Barcode-IT are now using the Falcon 4420 as part of its new Dexterity WMS (Warehouse Management System). Dexterity WMS is often used as a bolt-on to existing data systems to bring powerful warehouse management functionality at a cost effective price. Installations include SAP, Navision, Sage and Legacy systems.
The rugged Falcon 4420 terminal has been specifically designed for use in warehouse and distribution centre environments to help run any inventory management application. The Falcon 4420 is an ergonomically designed scanner with detachable handle for scan-intensive applications and a high resolution colour display option with touch screen. The barcode scanner is available in three different ranges; standard, long range and advanced long range. Typical applications for this terminal are goods receiving, put away, picking and shipping as well as parcel tracking and route management. Additionally customers using Legacy, UNIX, IBM, AS400, etc. and in-house developed systems can protect their investments by buying Falcon 4420s and running them in terminal emulation mode, with the ability to run a GUI (Windows) interface in the future.
