Trans-Poludnie, the leading Polish provider of logistics solutions, have started the implementation of one of the stringiest ecological norms ISO 14001 norm, defining the relationship between the company and the natural environment. At the same time ecology becomes the basic factor influencing the decision making processes in the management of the company.
The introduction of the management system according to ISO 14001 is the next step in the implementation of the complex proecological management system in the company. ISO 14001 will enable the formulation of the ecological policy based on controlling and minimalizing negative effects of companys influence on natural environment.
"With our huge transport fleet, we are aware of our influence on the environment. That is why we have decided to implement the norm ISO 14001. The new ecological standards will enable the protection of the natural environment but also will foster the growth of the company as an organization which is in accord with the nature and able to concentrate on our core activities." - says Marek Pijar, Trans-Poludnie CEO and founder.
Issues concerning environment protection are very impotrant for both the management of the company and the services delivered by Trans-Poludnie. From the beginning, the growth of the company and all of the initiatives were taken in accordance with strict ecological policy principles. This was realized mainly by the use of cars equipped with ecological standards EURO 2 and EURO 3, and paying attention to the quality of the fleet and training the drivers in the techniques and economical driving. Furthermore, the appropriate transport planning strategies have enabled to streamline the safety, emission of noise and effective usage of the routes.
