Strategix, a European software house specialising in the development and rapid deployment of supply chain software, announced today that its OneOffice software package has been short listed in the Growing Business Awards 2004 "New Product of the Year" category. OneOffice is a new generation of supply chain software that combines operations, finance, customer service and business activity management in one innovative system.
The Growing Business Awards are organised annually as a partnership between Caspian Publishing's Real Business magazine and the CBI (Confederation of British Industry). The Awards -- now in their sixth year -- are open to all UK companies with less than 500 employees and have become a spotlight for recognising entrepreneurial talent in the UK. Gordon Brown, Chancellor of the Exchequer, who is a regular guest speaker at the Growing Business Awards ceremony, describes the Awards as: "The premier showcase of enterprise in the UK."
"Strategix is delighted to be among the best of British businesses recognised by a nomination for the Growing Business Awards in 2004," said Peter Lusty, chief executive of Strategix. "Our position on the shortlist for New Product of the Year confirms the innovation that has gone into OneOffice enabling us to compete successfully in a market crowded with large multi-national corporations. OneOffice gives users complete visibility across the whole supply chain, so that they can make informed decisions to maximise business opportunities and enhance the customer experience."avoid the significant cost and risk of integrating different vendors' software products into a hybrid system.
