Information Engineering announces new modules for its SYSPRO ERP software

Information Engineering, has announced the addition of new modules and major functional enhancements to its manufacturing distribution and accounting software solution, SYSPRO. 

The latest release of the software (Version 6.0, issue 9) also sees the introduction of many new features, including ease-of-use enhancements, hyperlink navigation and customisation capabilities.

Pat McCarthy, Information Engineerings managing director: These improvements and additions have been made on the basis of customer demand.  They allow users to add greater business efficiencies and exert increased control over their processes and transactions.

The new SYSPRO Forecasting Module is an easy-to-use forecasting management tool that leverages historical sales information to forecast future sales, using predefined algorithms.  The module provides dynamic analysis and graphical reporting enabling users to streamline and optimise inventory forecasting.

The new SYSPRO Electronic Funds Module (EFT) interfaces with SYSPRO Accounts Payable and Cash Book modules to facilitate electronic payments. The EFT system is designed to meet the requirements of banks in any country with minimal user intervention.
 
New functionality for the SYSPRO Financials Module provides easier navigation, improved analysis of information and increased security, and it delivers users greater insight into their companys financial health.
 
The completely revamped SYSPRO Fixed Assets Module allows companies to better manage and control their asset investments. The system manages the tracking of assets and includes extensive valuation methods and security options.
 
SYSPRO Online Help has been re-engineered to use HTML files, which can be stored on the server for frequent updates.  Links are provided to the SYSPRO Web site for updates and PDF manuals are available for both viewing and printing.

With the introduction of out-of-the-box SYSPRO Web-based Applications, users can now introduce a customisable dashboard to their desktops providing a portal-style look-and-feel.  With tighter integration to the SYSPRO system, users can also customise the menu within the core product itself.

The additions will be on worldwide release during September.
