Aldata announces 2nd generation of Voice Technology for G.O.L.D.

Aldata, the European leader of voice integrated warehouse management systems, today announces the availability of its 2nd generation of voice technology systems, G.O.L.D. Vocal, which provides a complete set of warehouse operations including picking, splitting and inventory under voice technology.

G.O.L.D. Vocal
G.O.L.D. Vocal is a full module of the Aldata G.O.L.D. Supply Chain Management Software suite and is fully integrated with G.O.L.D. Stock, Aldatas warehouse management system. G.O.L.D. Vocal can also be connected to other warehouse management systems using standard interfaces.

Advantages
The advantages of voice technology in the warehouse are significant with productivity gains of between 20% - 40% depending on the process, reductions in order preparation errors by a factor of 5 - 10, improved quality service levels, very easy operator training and consequently a very fast deployment not to mention an overall return on investment in 6 months. Unique Supply and Support
The 1st generation of G.O.L.D. Vocal was a package consisting of Aldata software, third party software and the voice terminals. This 2nd generation has removed the necessity for third party software and positions Aldata as the unique supplier in terms of software and software support thus simplifying the commercial relationship with customers.

Future Evolutions in Voice and Mobility
Aldata are currently concluding a number of developments including PDA availability and enhanced features for mobility. An additional announcement will be made in September this year covering these evolutions.
