G-Log, the leading provider of global logistics and transportation software, announced today that Total Logistic Control (TLC), a leading supply chain services company, has successfully implemented the G-Log Global Command and Control Center (GC3) software to enhance its logistics capabilities and offer new integrated transportation services. TLC selected the scalable, Web-native G-Log software to centralise data from multiple systems and improve service to customers. Implemented in less than 100 days, the single GC3 platform enables TLC to broaden its service offering through its strong execution functionality, better decision support and to retire its i2 legacy system.

"Never content to follow, TLC continues to be a proactive pacesetter that embraces new technology to drive change and better serve our customers," said Bob Koerner, president and chief operating officer, TLC. "G-Log is aligned with our values in its ability to deliver on-time and within budget. We view our relationship as a true partnership. We chose G-Log's software because of its strong execution capabilities. In addition, the single platform gives us the ability to manage and optimise transportation for all of our clients in a single system. With G-Log, we are no longer managing transactions - we are managing processes."

TLC integrated the full G-Log solution - from order entry to freight settlement - across all modes and all geographies. Because the GC3 software provides supply chain visibility and execution functionality in the same system, TLC will be able to make better decisions by analysing all transportation and logistics data across a multitude of customers.

"Consistently ranked among the top 10 third-party logistic providers in the industry, TLC is a significant addition to our customer list," said David Cairns, CEO, G-Log. "GC3 is a perfect match for TLC's rapidly growing business. Our single, scalable system can not only help TLC win new business, but also increase the velocity, efficiency and customer service of its current logistics offerings. Through our continued aggressive growth in the logistics service provider market, G-Log is setting the standards for the logistics industry."
