Agilisys Inc., a leading supplier of enterprise software solutions to select manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries, is pleased to announce that it has acquired NxTrend. Based in Colorado Springs, NxTrend is a leading provider of enterprise
commerce management solutions. The acquisition will expand Agilisys' existing wholesale distribution capabilities and provide an opportunity to establish the combined company as a global leader in the distribution software market.
The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

NxTrend products serve as a single source solution designed to help wholesalers and distributors implement best practices in the areas of inventory management, order processing, sales, customer service, warehouse logistics, electronic commerce and strategic business analysis. The company's solutions are built on a progressive platform that allows for easy integration.

NxTrend has a 25-year history of profitable growth and has built a
customer base of over 1,900 companies with 90,000 users that span the electrical, building materials, industrial, plumbing/heating/air conditioning, paper and medical industries. There is a binding acquisition agreement that is subject to regulatory approval. The combined entity of Agilisys and NxTrend
will have over 1,500 employees serving 7,500 customers in 31 countries and revenue approaching $300 million.
