Infor, provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, has announced the acquisition of Orbis Global, provider of SaaS-based marketing resource management (MRM) software to large and mid-market companies. Based in San Francisco, Orbis Global is a significant addition to the Infor Epiphany suite, enhancing marketing lifecycle management to enable faster, more effective decision making from marketing, sales and service.
Orbis Global was originally founded in Sydney, Australia and is now based in San Francisco. Orbis Global has a strong presence in Asia-Pacific, with quickly growing footprints in North America and EMEA. Infor comments that the acquisition of Orbis Global further strengthens the Infor Epiphany suite, providing MRM capabilities that offer global marketers a holistic, closed-loop CRM solution that blends marketing, sales and service for more effective management of the marketing lifecycle.
