Honeywell has announced that Exapaq, the European parcel delivery specialist, has deployed the Dolphin 99EX mobile computer to all 2100 drivers in its workforce to increase productivity and minimise downtime while on the road.

The main aspects that comprise a mobile computer are: hardware, software, operating system and communication/wireless service provision. Modern mobile computers also often feature a raft of features; including camera, barcode scanner, phone and Internet access. This coming together of what have historically been features available on separate devices, is often referred to as Convergence.
