Work Technology Corporation (WorkTech), a company specialising in contractor cost tracking, time and attendance, and fatigue management software, has announced that its WorkTech Time solution has been selected by Basra Oil Company BOC), a national Iraqi company responsible for the oil in the south of Iraq.

BOC, formerly known as South Oil Company, is Iraq's largest state-owned upstream oil company and one of the major fundamental formations of the Iraq National Oil Company (INOC).

WorkTech Time is part of WorkTech's Productivity Suite for employee and contractor management that collects and aggregates employee time, attendance, and cost data and automatically applies appropriate business rules. The product will provide BOC streamlined business processes and cost savings by having all data, including employee time, attendance, and costs, in one system and integrated into their ERP system.

He continued, "Our selection demonstrates WorkTech's ability to meet the needs of global enterprises in the process industry such as BOC and we look forward to this initial installation to be part of a growing and long standing relationship."

"We are extremely pleased to have taken a major step in penetrating the Middle East market and gaining the trust and proof of concept from BOC and their business partners," commented Eric Grimes, Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing for WorkTech. He added, "We look forward to expanding our relationship in helping BOC achieve both immediate and long-term savings with our solutions.
