OMNI Systems, Inc., the high quality-low price thermal label converter, has received a 2017 "Cleveland Technology Award" by Smart Business Magazine in the category of Implementers/Users. OMNI is one of several companies that will receive the award at this year's Cleveland Tech Awards Luncheon on 23 March, 2017.
According to Smart Business, the Cleveland Technology Awards aim to recognize Northeast Ohio organizations that develop and/or implement impactful technology. Honorees are recognized in one of three categories: established developers or tech firms, startup tech firms and implementers/users.
This award is the culmination of a multi-year initiative in which OMNI Systems upgraded to world-class manufacturing resource planning software and robotic equipment, resulting in a dramatic increase in throughput coupled with a decrease in both job times and scrap material.
