Innovative manufacturer CipherLab has built a reputation for the high quality of its enterprise mobile computers and barcode scanners. Now it is bringing to market several new Android-based devices designed to compete with the very best in the world.

CipherLab 9700A

The 9700A is a rugged Android 6.0-based handheld computer designed for use in demanding manufacturing, warehousing and distribution centre operations. The form factor offers a choice of alphanumeric or numeric-only keypads, and 1D and 2D barcode scanners, including near-far reading. It is IP65-rated against dust and water ingress and withstands multiple 1m drops to concrete. The 9700A is a robust new contender for the rough and tumble of manufacturing and supply chain operations.

CipherLab RS50

When you need a smartphone form factor with robust protection for use in logistics, on-site service, warehousing and similar, the RS50 is the perfect solution. Running on Android 6.0, this tough enterprise mobile computer is IP67-rated and survives multiple 1.8m drops to concrete. Integrated WWAN, WLAN and WPAN take care of voice and data comms and there’s a choice of integrated barcode readers. With the enterprise in mind there are USB-connected cradles and ethernet comms. When the working environment is harsh, the RS50 is the smarter choice.

CipherLab RS31

The RS31 is perfect for customer-facing mobile workers in field sales, field service, retail and healthcare operations, where its under-260g weight aids user comfort. Based on Android 6.0, this IP67-rated, smartphone-like device can be specified with a choice of integrated barcode scanners and RFID reading, NFC peer-to-peer comms and secure payment card reading. It offers all the communications and data capture options as the RS50 above, including 4G LTE. Built to withstand multiple 1.2m drops to concrete, the RS31 is a rugged and intelligent mobile solution for the modern enterprise.
