Inolog, the technology company for sustainable logistics, has announced its launch in a bid to transform inefficiencies currently facing the supply chain and logistics industry, starting with inbound logistics – one of the final pieces of the puzzle to solve.

This first launch by Inolog will introduce a new TMS (Transport Management System) solution that is claimed not only to decrease complexities and drive down costs but can also be implemented in just one day. Founded by Craig Sears-Black, Inolog was created to help Supply chain operators and logistics organisations streamline and optimise. And with a TMS solution that has a simple, Facebook style interface that can be implemented in just one day, organisations can begin to reap the rewards instantly.

Sears-Black commented, "We purposely wanted to provide a solution that organisations could implement quickly and also one that could give them the flexibility and ease to choose the best transport options for them. Whether it be the small family run business with two trucks or a huge enterprise organisation with a global fleet, through increased visibility of the whole supply chain we can help organisations save up to 20% of their costs just by helping them to choose the best fit provider for the job."

He continues, "The logistics industry still has areas of significant inefficiency and now is the time for an overhaul. Emerging technologies are being implemented and embraced through every other aspect of the supply chain so why should the first mile be any different? We believe that Inolog can help any organisation with a logistics arm overcome their first mile obstacles at substantially lower cost."

As part of the launch, Inolog has partnered with technology company Cloud Logistics, the provider of transportation logistics solutions globally, and Inolog will become the reseller of its technology in Europe.

David Landau, Executive Vice President, Cloud Logistics commented on the partnership, "We are really excited about the prospect of expanding our presence into Europe and helping Inolog to provide emerging technologies to the logistics industry. Inolog's offering will be a turning point for a market that has had little attention focused on transportation inefficiencies due to a lack of systems available. We are therefore extremely excited about the prospect of the partnership for both our organisations but also for the transport industry as a whole."
