Based on its recent analysis of the food safety software market, Frost & Sullivan recognises Linkfresh, Inc. with the 2016 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Leadership. Linkfresh's food supply chain software can be customised and enhanced to perfectly meet the diverse needs of the food industry and its business processes.

Linkfresh is certified for seamless integration with Microsoft's Dynamics NAV and Dynamics AX enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms. While several ERP software solutions are available in the food industry, none offer the depth and diversity of functionalities that Linkfresh provides. Designed by food industry specialists, the software resourcefully modifies the Microsoft Dynamics platform to incorporate critical food safety factors.

"The Linkfresh software's operational efficiency features include meeting stringent customer quality, safety, and delivery expectations; reducing product and packaging waste; effective inventory management; compliance with traceability and safety regulations; and monitoring efficient use of machinery," said Frost & Sullivan Principal Analyst Raghu Tantry. "Essentially, it helps maximise production outputs, minimise waste, and improve profitability for food production companies."

The software is currently being used in fruit and farm fields, farm to retailer distribution channels, and large food processing companies, as well as by meat processors, fish importers and distributors, food transportation and logistics companies, and other entities in the "farm-to-fork" value chain. The company already has an enviable list of large and small customers.

"Linkfresh's worldwide network of certified partners is helping it expand continuously," added Tantry. "Along with comprehensive orientation, training, technical, and marketing support to leverage Linkfresh products and services, its partners receive 24/7 support in hardware installation, software deployment, and technical and related services across time zones and locations. While large to medium customers prefer long-term contracts, smaller customers can enjoy the benefits of working in a cloud-based system that circumvents large upfront investment."

Overall, Linkfresh's solution is proving invaluable to the food supply chain, especially the fresh food segment. For constantly and innovatively looking to upgrade and customize its products to offer higher value, Linkfresh is the worthy recipient of the 2016 North American Food Safety Software Technology Leadership Award.

"This is an amazing achievement," commented Andy Makeham, incoming Linkfresh CEO. "The Frost & Sullivan Award is highly prestigious, and well deserved by this remarkable company. LINKFRESH is perhaps the best kept secret in the sector, and this award will help shine a light on this fast growing business."

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has demonstrated uniqueness in developing and leveraging new technologies, which significantly impacts both the functionality and the customer value of the new products and applications. The award lauds the high R&D spend towards innovation, its relevance to the industry and the positive impact on brand perception.

Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Awards recognise companies in a variety of regional and global markets for outstanding achievement in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research.
