Glen-Gery (part of the Ibstock Building Products Group) has selected Optimum as the end-user training partner to develop and deliver the Oracle JD Edwards ERP training programme to support Glen-Gery's Brick Centres and Plants in North America.
The implementation will involve more than 140 staff across 20+ locations moving from their legacy system, to Oracle JD Edwards 9.1. Staff will be gathered at a central hub in Pittsburgh, PA for classroom training sessions in preparation for their go-live.
Optimum has developed a series of role-based classroom courses and end-user reference materials for various audiences within Finance, Administrative and Sales Order Management.
"We recently supported the Oracle JD Edwards ERP upgrade for Ibstock Brick in the UK, and the business clearly understands the importance of providing staff with accurate and engaging training," said Joanne Harrison, Sales Director at Optimum. "Satisfied clients are the biggest asset to Optimum and we are delighted to be back on board once again."
