Westfalia Technologies, Inc., provider of logistics solutions for manufacturers, warehouses and distribution centres since 1992, has received a Warehousing Innovation Award from Beverage World.

The company will showcase its award-winning solutions – including its automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and Savanna.NET warehouse execution system (WES) – at BevOps Fleet Summit, scheduled for April 21-24, 2015, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas US.

Presented by Beverage World, the inaugural Warehousing Innovation Awards honour companies that are leading beverage warehouses into the future with exceptional services and products. For more than 20 years, Westfalia's warehouse automation technology has helped beverage companies maximize space, gain new efficiencies and streamline overall operations. During BevOps, Westfalia will demonstrate these solutions and highlight how some of today's most prominent beverage companies have achieved success with its technology. In addition, Westfalia's Aaron Corcoran, account executive, will host a roundtable discussion, "How SKU proliferation and the emergence of new categories has impacted warehouses in regards to storing and retrieving beverages," at noon (PT) on April 22.

"Today's most forward-thinking beverage distributors, manufacturers and wholesalers are realising the benefits of automating their warehouses," said Dan Labell, president, Westfalia Technologies, Inc. "Logistics costs are higher, space is at a premium and competition is at an all-time high. With warehouse automation, like AS/RS, beverage companies can ensure productivity and efficiency now and for years to come. We are honored to receive recognition from Beverage World for our solutions and are looking forward to BevOps."
