Datamax-O'Neil, the manufacturer of stationary, vehicle mount, portable label and receipt printers, will launch its latest printer in EMEA on 1 December: According to the company, its new H-8308p is an extremely adaptive 8-inch thermal printer based on the proven H-Class and Performance Series technology offering increased label options, improved productivity and reduced costs.
Datamax-O'Neil's high quality H-8308p is compatible with PCL5 and PCL6 standard print languages and offers easy and reliable ERP and SAP integration. Furthermore, the printer provides an embedded open source LINUX operating system and Managed Print Service (MPS) support.

Due to its 8-inch format, the H-8308p can print A4 labels covering a wide range of labels, tags and documents – an optimal replacement for laser printers. Datamax-O'Neil reports that since thermal printing is four to five times more energy efficient than laser printing, enterprises can even further reduce their total cost of ownership. The company adds that the H-8308p offers one of the most feature rich and fast solutions on the market.
The H-8308p has been designed for a wide range of applications – from asset tracking to work-in-progress and agency labels to window and door as well as instruction labels in industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical applications, drum and chemical labeling, transportation and logistics as well as food and beverage. With its broad selection of connectivity options the H-8308p meets diverse application requirements and can be easily integrated into any network.
