Barloworld Supply Chain Software (BWSCS), provider of strategic and tactical supply chain solutions for demand, supply planning, network & transport design and optimisation, has entered into partnership with ISB Global.
ISB Global is a Value Added Reseller (VAR) of SAP software solutions and a Software Solutions & Technology Partner (SSTP), supporting customers with a range of tailored business and technical solutions, including Business Process Design, Project Management, Systems Implementation and Support. Its strong customer base includes key players within the oil and gas, recycling and waste management industries.
The partnership will strengthen BWSCS's presence in the energy, recycling and waste management sectors. Under the terms of the agreement, ISB Global will offer the Barloworld SCS CAST solution to address the increasing needs within its international customer base for a supply chain design and network modelling solution and expertise.
ISB will be able to extend the depth of its customer relationships by providing significant and strategic insight of customer's current supply chain performance, and identifying cost saving opportunities as well as providing direction and advice on network investment and/or restructuring.
CAST enables organisations to define their supply chain strategy and carry out supply chain modelling, while taking into account the many variables which can have a significant impact on effectiveness and efficiency. CAST also enables organisations to proactively plan for demand seasonality in order to maintain service levels. It also includes customs, tax, environmental and ecological aspects that are increasingly front of mind for many companies.
