Sato, the barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions provider, will showcase its latest products and technologies at the RFID Conference 2014 (Dusseldorf, Germany, 29 and 30 September 2014) and demonstrate their practical applicability in a SpeedLab session.

"When it comes to using RFID, 100 per cent detection of all products featuring a transponder, has to be the top priority," says Detlev Müller, General Manager DACH, Sato Germany, on the opportunities created by Sato Vicinity. "In this way, RFID solutions can even be used in demanding applications such as healthcare to optimise existing processes. By using the phase jitter modulation technology, we can ensure 100 percent detection."

RFID Tunnel Readers and RFID Printers in the Sato SpeedLab

At its stand, Sato will demonstrate a RFID tunnel reader which gives 100 percent detection in healthcare and industry, and the added values of the new phase jitter modulation technology.

Udo Deters, Senior Partner Sales Manager, RFID Product Specialist, Sato Germany will also be hosting a SpeedLab at the conference, where he will present the company's new CL4NX printer. The RFID printer for industrial applications combines the advantages of barcode and RFID technology, thus meeting high tracking and security requirements through multi printing functionality.

"Fast, flexible, and robust," is how Detlev characterizes the new CL4NX printer. He explains: "With the CL4NX we can provide industrial companies with a 4 inch printing solution which has many benefits. We focused on flexibility and the use of durable and robust materials, as well as technical features, such as two different processors and a completely new integrated UHF RFID read unit with an encoder module. High printing quality and accuracy are key features of the CL4NX as well as all other Sato products."

Adler Clothing Shop Counts on Sato Printers

Sato is a technology partner to Adler, who has introduced RFID technology at item level its 170 clothing stores. The RFID identification solution is used to reorganise the complete warehousing and stocktaking. As a specialist for retail solutions, Sato provided a package of 200 CL408e printers, suitable RFID labels and corresponding customer service.

"We are delighted to be a technology partner for Adler and be part of the introduction of RFID technology, thus contributing to the optimisation of the whole supply chain – from production to sale – together with other system partners," says Detlev.
