Dassault Systèmes has announced availability of Global Traceability and Containment for High-Tech manufacturers, a DELMIA Apriso solution to help better manage the process of tracking and containing quality events.
This solution consolidates detailed product, lot/serial genealogy, and event data from multiple plants, partners and disparate systems into a single, global repository. This intelligence can then be leveraged in near real-time to detect adverse quality events quickly and accurately to reduce the impact on customer satisfaction, waste, delays, and overall product quality.
Dassault Systèmes' Global Traceability and Containment solution for high-tech manufacturers draws from DELMIA Apriso products, professional services and industry knowledge to address the challenge of tracking and containing materials when spread across a highly diverse, frequently changing global production process. High-tech manufacturers operate within an industry driven by relentless new product introduction cycles where production yields can range from 10 to 80 percent during the first six months of operations. This new solution can improve throughput and "right first time" performance to reduce risk and cost while increasing efficiency and quality.
