mda relies on TouchStar mobile solutions for operational excellence

With over 25 years' experience, mda is a leading UK provider of outsourced fulfilment and procurement solutions to some of Britain's biggest brands and retailers. mda continually invests in leading-edge systems in order to manage the entire fulfilment process and have recently integrated a number of TouchStar's Vienna 7500 series truck mounted terminals into its fulfilment system within its operation.

Following a thorough trial process, the system was fully tested in a live fulfilment centre environment. The trial enabled mobile computing solution provider TouchStar to work closely with mda in order to tailor a system that fitted with all of mda's operational and technical requirements. The successful trial and subsequent system development allowed for a seamless integration from which mda now has access to advanced, flexible and future proofed technology fully supported by an all-inclusive 5 year support contract.

The new system will be rolled out across further operations in the near future and mda expects it to be fully operational across all sites within the next 12 months.
